Senior Facilities Technician, First Shift (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Respond to and resolve facilities tickets within two days, including drywall repair, patching and painting, furniture assembly, TV mounting, wall framing, finish work, and other repairs.
• Maintain consumable stock, equipment, general site surroundings, and facility systems.
• Move materials using hand trucks, forklifts, reach-lifts, man-lifts, golf carts, and other equipment.
• Recommend improvements to facilities and support related projects as directed by management.
• Work across a complex headquarters containing multiple manufacturing areas and specialized equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant experience performing high-end, high-quality repairs.
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach-lifts, or man-lifts.
• Valid California driver's license, acceptable driving record, reliable transportation, and the ability to complete assigned shifts.
• Ability to lift and manipulate 50 pounds, work at heights and on ladders, and perform frequent physical activities including climbing, bending, kneeling, pushing, and carrying.
• Willingness and ability to pass the required in-house forklift certification; flexibility for overtime, weekends, non-standard shifts, and outdoor work in heat, cold, wind, and rain.

Nice to have

• Five years of journeyman-level or higher experience.
• Maintenance or repair industry certifications.
• Mechanic or carpenter experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, or plumbing systems.
• Before-and-after photos of relevant prior work.
