Senior Components Technician (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Long Beach, California, United States. Up to 25% travel and occasional evening or weekend work may be required.

Salary: $41.39–$58.76 per hour, California pay range.

What you will do

• Assemble, install, and test flight hardware, including high-pressure fluid, oxygen, and refrigerant systems.
• Fabricate, clean, activate, and operate ground support equipment and test articles in partnership with engineering.
• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and modify pneumatic, hydraulic, vacuum, high-pressure, data, and control systems.
• Support development, acceptance, qualification, and investigative test campaigns.
• Maintain laboratory and workshop infrastructure, tool control, consumables, and cleanliness.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing, testing, operations, HVAC, or a related field.
• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted and work effectively in a team environment.
• Must be a U.S. person or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing under U.S. export-control requirements.
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment while balancing multiple projects.
• Specific certifications may be required as appropriate.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, power and gas, military, HVAC, industrial gas, or other high-reliability manufacturing industries.
• Experience with precision cleaning, cleanrooms, high-pressure or hazardous systems, and industrial equipment.
• Experience with automation, programmable logic controllers, data acquisition systems, JIRA, Confluence, and aerospace testing standards.
• Proficiency with machinery and hand tools, including forklifts, cranes, and aerial platforms.
