Senior Welder (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Cape Canaveral, Florida, United States

Salary: $33.20–$49.80 USD per hour

What you will do

• Fabricate, fit, and weld critical piping systems for the Terran R launch site.
• Build process piping, utility systems, and other ground support infrastructure.
• Install piping systems safely, accurately, and to high quality standards.
• Produce high-quality welds in shop and field environments.
• Collaborate with engineering, fabrication, and construction teams.
• Complete complex launch-site projects with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional welding and fabrication experience, including pipe welding and industrial systems.
• Proficiency in TIG, MIG, FCAW, and stick welding.
• Ability to read isometric drawings, blueprints, weld procedures, and welding symbols.
• Experience fitting, fabricating, and installing pipe and mechanical assemblies.
• Experience using grinders, drills, saws, and other fabrication tools.
• Ability to operate forklifts, reach lifts, and man lifts; safely lift up to 40 lbs. and work in an active industrial environment.

Nice to have

• AWS or ASME welding certifications.
• Experience welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and specialty alloys.
• Experience in aerospace, power generation, shipbuilding, petrochemical, or other heavy industrial environments.
• Experience with field construction, commissioning, or launch-site operations.
