Welder III - B Shift (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite at hirify.global Headquarters in Long Beach, California; Monday–Thursday, 3:15pm–1:45am. US office roles require eligibility under ITAR regulations, including US citizenship, lawful permanent residence, refugee or asylum status, or applicable government authorizations.

Base pay: $30–$40 USD per hour for California.

hirify.global is an aerospace company building rockets, spacecraft, and critical subsystems, including the reusable Neutron launch vehicle.

What you will do

• Weld and fabricate fluid systems and sub-assembly components for Rutherford and Archimedes rocket engines.
• Set up and operate welding systems according to established procedures.
• Weld assemblies from work orders, blueprints, and verbal instructions.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols while meeting tight product tolerances.
• Work across production floors, equipment areas, and field locations as operational needs require.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of welding experience with advanced techniques.
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, shipbuilding, construction, or a related industry.
• Proficiency in manual GTAW/TIG, orbital tube welding, laser welding, and lathe welding.
• Knowledge of industry standards and codes such as ASME, ANSI, ISO, and D17.1.
• Ability to weld material thicknesses from .011 to .250 inches and interpret technical drawings.
• Ability to work onsite in Long Beach, work the B shift, meet physical production demands, and satisfy US ITAR eligibility requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience welding Inconel, Monel, 300–400 series stainless steel, exotic alloys, or 3D-printed parts.
• Metal fabrication, assembly, welding fit-up, deburring, and pencil grinder experience.
• Certified Welder credentials or certifications in TIG, brazing, stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, or Inconel processes.
