Director Strategic Sourcing (IT Procurement)

Location: Fort Worth, Texas, United States. Hybrid schedule with one remote workday per week; daily work is conducted in an indoor office environment. Travel is expected to be 10% or less. Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs.

Salary: $118,700–$158,300 annually, plus annual incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of sourcing analysts and managers while supporting talent growth.
• Develop and execute supplier management and sourcing strategies for information technology and telecommunications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to forecast and prioritize purchasing needs.
• Conduct market research, internal data collection, analytics, and economic scenario modeling to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and complete RFPs and spot buys, review and negotiate contracts, and establish and monitor service-level agreements.
• Manage supplier and stakeholder relationships, advise on supplier selection, and present recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Must be able to work now and in the future without BNSF assistance in obtaining, maintaining, or extending U.S. employment authorization, including H-1B, STEM OPT/CPT, or TN status.
• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, finance, marketing, engineering, economics, mathematics, MIS, statistics, or a technology-related field.
• At least six years of professional experience in procurement, finance, and/or information technology.
• Strong quantitative analysis, planning, presentation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under time and performance pressures.
