Senior Actuarial Analyst

What you will do

• Price property, casualty, and specialty reinsurance treaties across the Asia Pacific region.
• Collaborate with underwriters on technical assessments, pricing outcomes, and business decisions.
• Prepare and communicate pricing memoranda in line with internal guidelines.
• Conduct lines-of-business studies, profitability reviews, and ad hoc actuarial modeling.
• Calibrate and update actuarial model assumptions and parameters to improve pricing relevance.
• Work with global actuarial teams on reinsurance pricing projects, model development, and improvements while supporting and training junior colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Associate or Fellow status with a recognized actuarial society.
• At least 6 years of property and casualty reinsurance pricing experience.
• Experience with project work and tool development.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, exercise sound actuarial judgment, respond to tight deadlines, and support dynamic business needs.

Nice to have

• Programming skills.
• Knowledge of IFRS, Solvency II, and capital management.
