Actuarial Associate

Location: Remote - Nationwide, United States. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship, including CPT/OPT sponsorship, is not available.

Base salary: $65,600–$92,675 per year.

What you will do

• Run and maintain actuarial models under the direction of actuarial staff.
• Conduct actuarial research and analyze results.
• Prepare calculations and findings related to product pricing, valuation, and risk management.
• Compile, analyze, and report data used in actuarial processes.
• Prepare reports and present results to actuarial staff.
• Collaborate with internal customers and business areas while completing assigned work within deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or statistics.
• Completion of 2–4 actuarial exams toward the Associate of the Society of Actuaries designation.
• 0–2 years of relevant actuarial or related experience.
• Basic knowledge of actuarial principles and practices, Microsoft Office, Excel, Access, and VBA.
• Strong written and verbal communication, accountability, adaptability, and collaboration skills.
• U.S. work authorization required; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with MG-ALFA or Moody’s Analytics AXIS actuarial modeling software.
• Experience supporting product pricing, valuation, or risk management activities.
