What you will do
- Develop pricing models for potential flow reinsurance transactions.
- Analyze deal profitability and risk profiles and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Support onboarding of business into management and financial reporting areas.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance pricing tools, models, and pricing frameworks.
- Review work produced within the team and present pricing results to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or another quantitative field.
- Associate qualification from a widely recognized actuarial body and active pursuit of FSA or FIA qualification.
- 5+ years of actuarial experience, including exposure to long-term insurance or reinsurance products.
- Experience with actuarial projection and valuation software.
- Strong communication skills for interaction with internal senior management and client company management.
- Excellent oral and written English skills, with advanced proficiency required for the role.
Nice to have
- Experience with fixed-rate and indexed annuities.
- Experience leveraging generative AI platforms, automation tools, or data-driven systems to improve workflows and decision-making.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
