TL;DR
Principal Technical Product Manager (AI): Defining and scaling products across an agentic AI portfolio, including enterprise knowledge assistants, agent-driven engineering platforms, and AI/data modernization applications, with an accent on product strategy, adoption, metrics, and foundation-model lifecycle tooling. Focus on translating CTO strategy into prioritized roadmaps, driving internal platform adoption, evaluating build/buy/partner decisions, and transitioning incubated products to owning organizations.
Location: United States — San Diego, Washington, DC, San Mateo, or Dallas; on-site with travel to a location 1–3 times per quarter.

What you will do
- Own product definition, roadmaps, and metrics for the CTO office’s agentic AI portfolio, including Brain, Springboard, and enterprise AI/data modernization initiatives.
- Translate CTO strategy into requirements, milestones, exit criteria, and KPIs.
- Drive adoption of internal developer platforms by reducing onboarding friction, instrumenting usage, tracking NPS and active users, and leading developer advocacy.
- Shape product direction for foundation-model autonomy architectures and model lifecycle tooling, including evaluation, fine-tuning, verification, and deployment.
- Run discovery with engineers, operators, and executive stakeholders; prioritize backlogs and competing initiatives.
- Recommend build, buy, and partner strategies, author executive-facing product documents, and manage transitions from incubation to owning organizations.
Requirements
- 8+ years of product management experience with deeply technical products, plus an engineering or computer science background.
- Technical fluency with source code, APIs, CLIs, and AI coding tools.
- Experience shipping developer tools, internal platforms, or AI/ML products and driving their adoption.
- Working fluency with LLM-based systems, including agents, evaluation, context management, and fine-tuning trade-offs.
- Metrics-driven operating style with experience defining KPIs, instrumenting products, and reporting against objectives.
- Strong written communication and executive-level stakeholder management across engineering, product, and business functions.
Nice to have
- Prior software engineering experience.
- Experience in defense, aerospace, regulated, safety-critical, robotics, or autonomy environments.
- Experience with enterprise data platforms, ERP integrations, requirements traceability, verification and validation, or certification artifacts.
- Experience taking zero-to-one internal products through incubation, adoption, and handoff.
