Director of Product (AI)

Location: Based at hirify.global’s headquarters in Sydney, Australia

hirify.global develops AI-enabled counter-drone technology for military organisations, government agencies, airports, critical infrastructure operators, and law enforcement.

What you will do

• Lead and develop a product organisation of 8–10 product managers and product owners.
• Define product strategy and direction in partnership with the CTO.
• Own product roadmaps across software and hardware product lines.
• Drive backlog prioritisation, delivery alignment, and execution discipline with engineering teams.
• Improve product management frameworks, structured thinking, and best-practice methodologies.
• Oversee customer and market insight, product launches, lifecycle management, and performance monitoring.

Requirements

• 8–12 years of product management experience, including team leadership and accountability for product delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of software and hardware development lifecycles.
• Ability to operate strategically and execute at an operational level.
• Strong stakeholder management across technical and commercial functions.
• Experience building or maturing product organisations and processes in a fast-paced environment.

• Interest or experience in defence, security, or critical systems.
• Hands-on, pragmatic, delivery-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills.
