Senior Product Manager, AI Risk & Fraud Intelligence

Location: Based in San Francisco or Singapore

Salary: $160K–$230K base pay, plus potential equity and bonus

What you will do

• Own the transaction fraud product across the payments platform, including real-time rules, alerting frameworks, and detection logic.
• Optimize monitoring rules and thresholds to improve detection quality and reduce false positives.
• Build scalable post-transaction monitoring, manual review workflows, delay modes, and investigator tooling.
• Design client-specific risk controls, limits, and safeguards for complex merchants.
• Partner with Risk, Compliance, Operations, Data, and Engineering teams to improve triage, case management, data pipelines, and detection infrastructure.
• Apply AI and advanced analytics while aligning monitoring capabilities with AML, fraud, regulatory, and customer-experience requirements.

Requirements

• 6+ years of Product Management experience, ideally in payments, fintech, or financial crime prevention.
• Experience building or owning transaction monitoring, fraud detection, or AML systems.
• Strong data analysis skills, including SQL and data tools for investigating signals, optimizing rules, and evaluating monitoring performance.
• Experience defining risk detection logic, monitoring rules, and thresholds.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Risk, Compliance, Operations, Data, and Engineering teams.
• Experience building scalable, automated systems in regulated environments while balancing risk, efficiency, and customer experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with AML monitoring or fraud detection platforms.
• Familiarity with case management and investigation tooling.
• Exposure to machine learning or AI-driven risk systems.
