Head of Fraud Product (Fintech)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $220,000–$275,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Define and execute the roadmap for the fraud product portfolio, balancing customer needs with long-term innovation.
• Lead product managers and collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, Risk Operations, Marketing, and Sales.
• Develop product capabilities across device intelligence, behavioral biometrics, machine learning, and fraud detection.
• Optimize fraud catch rates, false positives, approval rates, and user friction for merchants.
• Track emerging fraud trends, including account takeover and synthetic identity attacks, as well as competitor capabilities.
• Define product positioning, value propositions, and sales enablement materials.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role managing product managers.
• Hands-on experience with payment fraud at a payment processor, fraud vendor, or merchant.
• Experience at a specialized fraud vendor or B2B SaaS startup.
• Strong analytical skills and experience working with large datasets and risk metrics such as recall, precision, and approval rates.
• Proven ability to take zero-to-one products to market and scale them for enterprise use.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including communication with technical, non-technical, and C-suite stakeholders.
