Production Technician I, Fill/Pouch (Healthcare Manufacturing)

Location: Marion, North Carolina, United States. On-site production role with a 6:30pm–6:30am shift schedule.

What you will do

• Operate, monitor, and make minor adjustments to manual and automated filling equipment using HMI controls, photo-eyes, sensors, and manual adjustments.
• Perform formulation, raw-material weighing, mixing, tank changes, batch and code changes, sub-lots, and production-supply replenishment.
• Complete scheduled quality checks, inspect and measure products, identify deviations, and stop production when required.
• Document manufacturing information, quality checks, cleaning activities, and production records in logs and the POMS system.
• Escalate mechanical, alignment, setup, safety, quality, and discrepancy issues and support minor troubleshooting or repairs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles while working with machinery, chemical cleaners, disinfectants, and required PPE.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic English written and oral communication skills are required.
• Ability to understand safety and quality instructions, read work instructions and drawings, and perform basic mathematics.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with calculators, measurement tools, and basic hand tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and perform bending, reaching, kneeling, climbing, balancing, and other physical movements; must pass the Powered Industrial Truck physical.

Nice to have

• Production technician or manufacturing experience, including preventive maintenance and machine troubleshooting.
