Senior Tooling Engineer (Injection Molding)

Location: Fort Worth, Texas, United States. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

What you will do

• Develop new injection molds from part Design for Moldability through production approval.
• Facilitate moldability and tooling design reviews with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Define project objectives, requirements, functional specifications, milestones, priorities, and schedules.
• Coordinate supplier FAT activities, internal mold testing, qualification, tool transfers, and repairs.
• Evaluate testing results and direct functional, dimensional, and visual corrections or improvements.
• Prepare technical and qualification documentation for hand-off to production molding and operations teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline from a four-year ABET-accredited college or university.
• At least 5 years of experience in injection molding, focused on mold development.
• Experience with 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD Inventor or SolidWorks.
• Experience performing and interpreting mold flow analyses; MoldEx 3D is preferred.
• Familiarity with engineering-grade resins and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organization, communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, and adaptability.
