Salary: $76,600–$86,600 per year

What you will do

  • Troubleshoot and optimize extrusion manufacturing processes to improve quality, efficiency, and performance.
  • Design and execute Design of Experiments and Engineering Test Requests.
  • Lead and support process improvement, validation, and new product development projects.
  • Perform product and process validations on extrusion lines and injection molding equipment.
  • Analyze manufacturing data and identify process optimization opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, tooling vendors, suppliers, and external partners while maintaining technical documentation and engineering reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • 2+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
  • Willingness to travel domestically, with occasional international travel.

Nice to have

  • B.S. in Plastics or Polymer Engineering.
  • Experience with plastic part design, extrusion, and injection molding.
  • Knowledge of mold design and mold shop manufacturing processes.
  • Experience working with tooling vendors and external suppliers.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and CAD/CAM software.
