Tooling Engineer III-Composites (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Design, develop, fabricate, and integrate production jigs, fixtures, and other tooling for manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Design, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to align tooling with production and product requirements.
• Support tooling procurement, commissioning, project estimates, timelines, and deliverables.
• Improve tooling performance, quality, cycle time, cost, and manufacturing capability.
• Evaluate tooling technologies, materials, and processes, and troubleshoot issues during development and production.
• Ensure tooling designs and implementations meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in tooling design and development.
• Proficiency in manufacturing processes, materials, CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD, and simulation tools.
• Experience with GD&T and/or drawing interpretation.
• Experience supporting tooling development through design, procurement, and implementation.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
