Principal Technical Business Systems Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Remote - Nationwide, United States; primary location Greenwood Village, Colorado. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship, including CPT/OPT sponsorship, is not available.

Base salary: $114,000–$165,300 per year, with eligibility for a bonus program.

What you will do

• Lead Agile collaboration with business stakeholders, IT teams, architects, system analysts, QA, and engineers.
• Gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements, user stories, workflows, and technical solutions.
• Evaluate existing systems and processes, identify efficiency opportunities, and recommend practical improvements.
• Support software delivery by reviewing requirements, validating functionality, troubleshooting issues, and conducting impact analysis.
• Contribute to application roadmaps and initiatives that improve scalability and resilience.
• Coach and mentor analysts, influence best practices, and lead the analyst community center of excellence within the value stream.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience working with development and systems teams as a Lead Business Systems Analyst.
• Strong business process analysis, problem-solving, stakeholder communication, and requirements management skills.
• Experience with complex multi-platform applications and databases, including SQL, Toad, MS Access, Excel, and/or SharePoint.
• Strong knowledge of Agile development methodology and experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Ability to create detailed reports, manuals, workflows, specifications, and technical documentation.
• U.S. work authorization is required; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Prior production support and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience as a QA professional or developer.
