Staff Engineer, Experience Engineering

Location: Remote - US

Salary: $182,600–$251,020 for Zone 3, $193,400–$265,870 for Zone 2, or $214,800–$295,350 for Zone 1, plus RSUs and benefits.

What you will do

• Design and build next-generation user experiences for human and agent users across the product suite.
• Develop the experience platform and supporting technology for consumer-grade enterprise applications.
• Provide product teams with tools and platform capabilities to build better experiences faster.
• Set technical direction, write specifications, influence decisions across teams, and mentor engineers.
• Own operational excellence, including monitoring, observability, telemetry, alerting, incident response, and on-call.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience building large-scale products for sophisticated users performing complex work.
• Experience designing interfaces and supporting technology platforms for consumer-grade enterprise applications.
• Demonstrated technical leadership in setting direction, writing specifications, and influencing across teams.
• BA/BS in mathematics, statistics, data science, or a related field; a graduate degree is preferred.
• Ability to lead by example, maintain high technical rigor, and own systems end to end.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go, Python, event-driven architectures, and large-scale data processing.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, ClickHouse, Redis, DynamoDB, Kafka, or similar technologies.
• Experience with experiment lifecycle tooling, funnel analysis, causal inference, or Bayesian experimentation.
• Familiarity with Statsig, Eppo, GrowthBook, or Optimizely.
