Senior Technical Architect, Product Engineering (AI)

Location: Remote for residents of eligible U.S. states or the United Kingdom; approximately 20% travel to client locations in Washington, DC and Colorado Springs.

Salary: $175,000–$250,000 per year.

What you will do

• Design and oversee backend service ecosystems built with .NET and Python.
• Define scalable React and Three.js frontend architecture for interactive, data-driven interfaces.
• Lead SQL Server database architecture, Redis-based data layers, messaging, caching, and performance optimization.
• Design RAG architectures, vector search integrations, retrieval pipelines, and agentic AI workflows.
• Establish Secure SDLC, architecture governance, code quality, CI/CD, threat modeling, and compliance practices.
• Drive AWS cloud-native architecture with Docker, Kubernetes, networking, security, and distributed-system troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Extensive architecture and engineering experience with .NET, C#, and .NET Core.
• Strong architectural experience with React, distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Deep SQL Server experience, including schema design, query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Redis or similar high-performance in-memory systems, RAG frameworks, vector databases, and retrieval pipelines.
• Experience with LangChain, AutoGen, DSPy, or similar agent-driven AI architectures, plus AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; candidates must reside in an eligible U.S. state or the United Kingdom.
