SAP FICO Functional Lead

Location: Remote within the United States; based in or associated with Alpharetta, Georgia. Travel of up to 40% may be required. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and must be a US citizen or Green Card holder.

What you will do

• Manage a team delivering SAP package application implementations through configuration and development.
• Lead requirements workshops, document findings, and provide functional specifications for technical development.
• Configure FI, CO, and associated SAP modules.
• Lead projects, allocate resources, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Identify technical and operational challenges, monitor project progress and financial metrics, and provide advisory services.
• Guide and mentor team members while promoting continuous improvement and effective collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years of relevant industry experience, including at least 3+ years in a similar software engineering and management role.
• Experience configuring SAP FI, CO, and associated modules.
• Proficiency in one or more software languages and development methodologies.
• Proven experience in team management, software project execution, and package applications.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as an MBA.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP or advanced technical training.
