SAP ECC/S4 HANA FICO Functional Lead

Location: Remote in Canada, with the role listed for the Greater Toronto Area. Occasional on-site work at hirify.global's Little Falls site in Delaware may be available.

Salary: CAD 106,720–175,088 per year in Canada; US compensation is USD 116,800–195,275 per year. Bonus, stock, and benefits may also apply.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end design, configuration, process mapping, and implementation of complex SAP ECC FICO and S/4HANA Finance projects.
• Translate finance strategies and business requirements into scalable SAP process flows and solution designs.
• Act as the finance functional and technical lead, representing Finance Operations, Tax, Global Trade, Reporting, Consolidation, and FP&A stakeholders.
• Coordinate requirements gathering, prototyping, cross-module integration across FI, CO, MM, SD, and PS, and collaboration with IT and implementation partners.
• Drive data migration, cutover planning, testing, compliance, and resolution of complex system and process design issues.
• Mentor junior teammates and lead project teams through the delivery lifecycle.

Requirements

• 8+ years of SAP FICO experience across SAP ECC and S/4HANA.
• Deep techno-functional expertise in at least 2–3 Finance sub-functions and strong understanding of Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash processes.
• Experience leading global SAP implementations and managing multi-geography teams from a Finance perspective.
• Strong knowledge of Group Reporting, including consolidation processes, intercompany eliminations, currency translation, data models, and monitoring tools.
• Excellent analytical, communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP certifications in S/4HANA Finance or Group Reporting.
• Experience transitioning from Oracle EPM Suite to S/4HANA Group Reporting and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Knowledge of Universal Journal, SAP Fiori applications, third-party integrations, SAP security, WRICEF development, and testing frameworks.
