TL;DR
SAP FICO Principal Consultant (SAP FICO): Providing expert consulting and support for SAP FICO across global business units, including implementations, migrations, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement with an accent on financial and controlling processes, cross-module integration, and enterprise stakeholder alignment. Focus on configuring core SAP FICO modules, designing RICEFW solutions with ABAP teams, leading testing and data migration, and supporting complex multi-geography initiatives.
Location: Hybrid, with an average requirement of 2 days per week from an HPE office

What you will do
- Provide expert SAP FICO consulting across HPE businesses, functions, and geographies.
- Lead SAP FICO implementations, rollouts, upgrades, migrations, regulatory compliance projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Gather and document business requirements and align them with SAP FICO capabilities.
- Configure GL, AP, AR, Tax, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, CCA, PCA, Internal Orders, CO-PA, and CO-PC.
- Coordinate SAP integration with MM, SD, PS, RAR, and HCM, and collaborate with ABAP teams on RICEFW developments.
- Lead testing, data migration, cutover planning, reconciliation, documentation, training, and issue resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, IT, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
- 12–15+ years of SAP FICO consulting experience, including full-cycle implementations and post-go-live support.
- Expertise in SAP FICO core modules and end-to-end implementation of related solutions.
- Experience with regulatory compliance, e-invoicing, Tax/VAT, SAFT, DMEE, banking, treasury, data migration, cutover, and reconciliation.
- Experience writing Functional Design Specifications and coordinating RICEFW objects with ABAP developers.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead multiple initiatives in a complex global enterprise environment.
