Senior Engineer, Process Engineering

What you will do

• Develop and maintain processes, equipment data, process flows, and control standards for advanced filter production lines.
• Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, routings, safety reviews, test specifications, test methods, and component drawings.
• Manage yield, operating performance criteria, performance analysis, FMEA, and SPC controls.
• Drive root cause analyses and corrective action plans using Six Sigma tools in collaboration with quality, product engineering, manufacturing, and sales and marketing.
• Lead technology transfers from new product development into manufacturing and implement changes through V&Q and PCN processes.
• Develop capital justifications and implement equipment, cycle-time, and yield improvements.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering field.
• At least 7 years of process or equipment engineering experience in manufacturing is preferred.
• Proficient English communication skills are required.
• Ability to travel globally for approximately 10% of the role.
• Hands-on process development and equipment engineering capabilities, with willingness to learn new science, technology, and assembly processes.

Nice to have

• Lean or Green Belt certification.
• Experience with AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Japanese language skills.
