Sustaining Manufacturing Engineer

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and improve manufacturing process specifications, operating procedures, and process controls.
• Maintain manufacturing engineering standards including labor standards, maintenance records, production routings, BOM standards, and work instructions.
• Provide production support to keep manufacturing equipment and processes operating safely and efficiently.
• Research and evaluate processes and support systems for adaptation and improvements; conduct feasibility studies aligned to safety, quality, market demand, and cost.
• Support shop floor layout with Digital/CAD tools and manage installation and qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) of CNC/robotic equipment.
• Run engineering studies for CNC/robotic process validations, write protocols and validation reports, and implement corrective/preventive actions for scrap and rework.

Requirements

• Location/Work authorization: Must already have full-time work authorization in the United States and cannot require visa sponsorship (e.g., H-1B).
• BS in Engineering, Science, or related field with 3+ years of experience.
• 3–4 years of verifiable experience in a CNC manufacturing environment.
• Relevant knowledge in med-device (or similar) CNC process development, QC inspection, and process monitoring (SPC).
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
