TL;DR

Process Engineer (Metal Stamping): Developing and optimizing metal stamping and assembly processes for advanced electronics products with an accent on process feasibility, tooling, fixtures, equipment, and manufacturing quality. Focus on leading trials, analyzing root causes, improving production costs and processes, and implementing PFMEA, Lean, and Six Sigma practices.

What you will do

Evaluate new product requests, provide RFQ data, assess process feasibility, and define DFM recommendations.
Participate in tooling, fixture, equipment, debugging, and outsourcing process development.
Lead new product samples and trial production runs.
Create and maintain flowcharts, PFMEA, SOPs, work instructions, and other engineering documents.
Analyze manufacturing costs and process data, implement optimization plans, and manage improvement verification and ECN activities.
Support production, resolve process and quality issues, train operators, assist with customer complaints, and contribute to audits and cross-site technical support.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or above in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, automation, or a related field.
More than 5 years of experience in metal, stamping, and assembly process development and improvement.
Experience with process feasibility assessment, verification, optimal process design, and product manufacturing requirements.
Working knowledge of PFMEA, Six Sigma, VSM, Lean, APQP, and quality tools.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and PRO/E or Creo; familiarity with ISO 9000, ISO 13485, and IATF 16949.
English CET-4 or above required for reading and writing; spoken English is a plus.

Nice to have

Experience with cleaning, plasma treatment, riveting, tumbling, welding, laminating, or die-cutting.
Automotive product experience.
Additional PFMEA and Six Sigma experience.
