What you will do
- Lead a team of NPI Manufacturing Engineers and technicians responsible for launching new products.
- Act as the primary process and manufacturing expert on cross-functional New Product Introduction teams.
- Innovate, design, and develop manufacturing processes, procedures, tooling, and automation.
- Execute functional deliverables associated with CAPA, Project Management, and Quality Systems.
- Provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) input to engineering print packages and oversee development builds.
- Write and review validation protocols and reports applicable to new processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in science, BSME, or a related Engineering degree.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a process or manufacturing engineering role.
- Full-time work authorization in the United States is required; no sponsorship provided.
- Experience with DFM, Lean Manufacturing, and Process Control Concepts.
- Proficiency in Process Validation and product/process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Knowledge of Problem Solving and Process Improvement Methodologies (e.g., 6 Sigma, DMAIC).
Nice to have
- Experience in Medical Device Manufacturing.
- Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, MasterCAM) and GD&T ASME Y14.5M-1994.
- Experience with data analysis tools like Minitab.
- Experience with Measurement Systems (CMMs, Vision Inspection, Profilometers).
- Master's degree in engineering or experience in metals/plastics machining and additive manufacturing.
