Frontend Engineer (Angular)

Location: Boston, United States

Salary: $85,000–$130,000 base salary in Massachusetts or $90,000–$135,000 in NYC/NJ, plus an annual target bonus.

What you will do

• Build Angular interfaces for integration configuration, transformation building, workflow monitoring, execution results, and audit logs.
• Own features end to end, from Figma designs and Angular components to Python API endpoints and production deployment.
• Extend and document the component library with Storybook in collaboration with design and product.
• Build high-performance data views, including filterable tables, real-time execution streams, transformation diffs, and audit trails.
• Implement AI-specific interfaces with progressive rendering, token-by-token output, interruption and retry handling, and accept/reject/edit flows.
• Write unit and integration tests and optimize performance, security, RBAC-aware rendering, and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional frontend engineering experience and experience shipping production SaaS features.
• Deep Angular proficiency, including components, services, RxJS, reactive forms, lazy loading, standalone components, and Angular CDK.
• Strong TypeScript skills and the ability to write backend API endpoints in Python using FastAPI or a similar framework.
• Figma fluency, including Dev Mode, components, and design tokens.
• Experience with Jasmine or Jest, Cypress or Playwright, and reactive state management such as NgRx or Akita.
• Active daily use of AI coding assistants.

Nice to have

• Streaming UI experience with WebSocket or SSE, plus data visualization experience with D3, Chart.js, or ngx-charts.
• Experience with CodeMirror or Monaco, Angular Material or Kendo UI, Module Federation, or Nx.
• Experience building financial services interfaces involving audit trails, RBAC, and compliance-aware patterns.
