Frontend Engineer, Marketing (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY; hybrid policy requires staff to be in one of the offices at least 25% of the time.

Annual salary: $300,000–$320,000 USD

What you will do

• Build and maintain interactive marketing pages, data visualizations, page templates, and design-system components across Anthropic’s web properties.
• Work within a headless CMS architecture, improving content modeling, structured data workflows, and publishing experiences.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, brand, and content teams to turn static designs into polished interactive web experiences.
• Develop internal tools for authoring, managing, and publishing content at scale.
• Contribute to site migrations, architecture projects, tooling improvements, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
• Rapidly prototype concepts and iterate toward production-ready implementations.

Requirements

• Solid experience with modern frontend frameworks, particularly Next.js or similar React-based tooling.
• Strong CSS skills for implementing complex layouts, animations, and interactive experiences.
• Hands-on experience with headless CMS platforms, content modeling, and structured data workflows.
• Experience building internal tools or improving operational workflows.
• Ability to prototype quickly, communicate clearly with designers and engineers, and deliver technically sound, visually refined work.
• Experience contributing to production web properties at a mid-level scope; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or experience is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted development workflows.
• Interest in generative or programmatic design.
• Familiarity with localization or internationalization systems.
