Frontend Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site in New York City, San Francisco, or Buenos Aires

Salary: $140,000–$260,000 annual base salary for NYC and San Francisco; compensation varies by location and includes equity.

What you will do

• Build and refine high-quality React interfaces from low-fidelity wireframes.
• Implement pixel-perfect UI experiences with advanced CSS techniques and animations.
• Optimize frontend performance, caching, and CDN delivery for global users.
• Collaborate with design and engineering to deliver product experiences quickly and precisely.
• Contribute to frontend architecture and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in React, Next.js, and TypeScript, including state management and performance optimization.
• Experience architecting and scaling complex Next.js applications with App Router, SSR, SSG, and ISR.
• Strong command of Tailwind CSS, SASS, or SCSS, plus React Query or a similar data-fetching library.
• Experience with React Server Components in production and internationalization strategies in Next.js.
• A strong design eye and a portfolio demonstrating high-quality frontend work.
• Ability to work on-site in the New York City, San Francisco, or Buenos Aires office.

Nice to have

• Experience with GSAP for advanced animations.
• Experience with Three.js, React Three Fiber, or immersive 3D experiences.
