Fabricating Supervisor (Packaging Manufacturing)

Location: Lancaster, PA, United States; onsite shift work

Salary: $78,000–$98,000 annually, depending on experience, plus an annual performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Oversee finishing activities including folding, gluing, waxing, stripping, and bundling.
• Coordinate shift work orders and production activities with the Production Manager and Shift Supervisor.
• Provide direct supervision, approve time records, and support hiring, promotion, discipline, and employee development.
• Monitor equipment, materials, product quality, and departmental performance to prevent malfunctions and reduce downtime.
• Train employees on equipment, production standards, safety procedures, protocols, and waste control.
• Investigate finishing-quality complaints and recommend process and equipment improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of corrugated manufacturing experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required.
• Previous supervisory experience, including training, team building, performance development, and conflict resolution.
• Knowledge of corrugated and packaging manufacturing, machinery, shop-floor software, continuous improvement, and safety practices.
• Strong organizational, analytical, mechanical, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to work flexible hours and manage multiple deadlines.
