Operations Packaging Supervisor (Battery Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead daily finished-product packaging operations while enforcing safety, environmental compliance, quality, and operational standards.
• Supervise, coach, train, and develop packaging operators, including assigning work, setting expectations, and managing performance.
• Coordinate packaging schedules, staffing, materials, equipment readiness, production priorities, and shipment requirements.
• Oversee filling, weighing, sealing, wrapping, labeling, palletizing, sampling, staging, and finished-product handling.
• Ensure product identification, labels, weights, quantities, lot information, documentation, container integrity, and traceability meet requirements.
• Partner with Production, Quality, Warehouse, Logistics, Maintenance, Engineering, and site leadership to resolve issues and improve throughput, reliability, and customer-ready output.

Requirements

• Five or more years of experience in packaging, manufacturing, production operations, industrial processing, battery or chemical materials, warehousing, material handling, or a similar environment.
• Experience leading packaging, finished-goods, production, warehouse, or material-handling operations in an industrial setting.
• Knowledge of filling, weighing, sealing, labeling, wrapping, palletizing, container preparation, lot identification, and finished-product staging.
• Experience with industrial packaging and material-handling equipment, including conveyors, filling systems, scales, sealers, labelers, wrappers, pallet equipment, and forklifts.
• Ability to monitor production KPIs, identify abnormalities, support troubleshooting, and participate in incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Must be able to work assigned shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, or rotating schedules, and work on the production floor in PPE.

Nice to have

• Previous experience as a supervisor, team lead, trainer, or frontline leader.
• Familiarity with computerized manufacturing, inventory, warehouse, quality, or production-control systems.
