Supervisor, Production (CNC Manufacturing)

Location: Newburyport, Massachusetts, United States. Onsite Monday through Friday, 2nd shift from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am; some weekends may be required.

Annual base salary: $73,960–$101,695, plus a 10% pay differential for applicable shifts outside standard base-pay shifts.

What you will do

• Supervise, train, coach, and support manufacturing staff in the assigned production area.
• Lead daily standups covering goals, operational needs, and solutions.
• Track manufacturing targets and prepare daily performance reports.
• Ensure leads have the required materials, tools, and shift documentation.
• Identify process improvements and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Enforce OSHA standards, perform 7S and Lean projects, and support in-process inspections and quality control.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a component CNC manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading teams involved in machining, deburring, and assembly.
• Manufacturing experience in the aerospace or defense industry.
• Understanding of assembly processes, including helicoils and press-fit pins.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP systems including EPICOR, Outlook, and related tools.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or systems engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with 3D printing manufacturing.
• ISO 9001 and AS9100 experience.
