Workday Financials Project Manager

Location: On-site in Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States

Salary: $118,000–$180,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end Workday Financials implementations covering general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, procurement, cash management, and fixed assets.
• Develop project plans and budgets, define scope and milestones, assign resources, and manage dependencies, risks, issues, and change control.
• Coordinate integration and data migration workstreams to support secure data movement and connections with upstream and downstream systems.
• Lead unit, system, integration, and user acceptance testing, including defect resolution and deployment readiness.
• Coordinate cutover, go-live execution, hypercare, and continuous improvement activities.
• Partner with Finance, IT, HR, business leaders, and steering committees on communications, training, stakeholder engagement, adoption, and organizational readiness.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of project management experience leading ERP or large-scale financial systems initiatives.
• Understanding of general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, cash management, procurement, integrations, and data conversion.
• Experience incorporating change management activities, including communications, training, and stakeholder engagement, into enterprise system projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, problem-solving, decision-making, time-management, and prioritization skills.
• Comfort with an on-site presence in Grand Rapids is required to support collaboration and cross-functional partnership.

Nice to have

• Workday Financials implementation experience.
• Experience with other tier-one ERP platforms such as Oracle or SAP.
