Senior Cloud Network Engineer

TL;DR

Senior Cloud Network Engineer (Cloud Networking): Building and operating cloud and hybrid network architectures with an accent on AWS/Azure networking, TCP/IP routing (including BGP), and secure connectivity (VPN/Direct Connect/Transit Gateway). What you will do

• Own and support cloud network systems, diagnosing and resolving incidents and driving system improvements.
• Design and implement cloud, multi-cloud, and hybrid network architectures and connectivity patterns.
• Apply network security best practices using zero trust principles and cloud-native security controls.
• Automate infrastructure and networking workflows using IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation) and scripting (Python/PowerShell/Bash).
• Use monitoring and troubleshooting tools (CloudWatch/Azure Monitor and third-party tools) to maintain reliability.
• Mentor engineers, participate in technical interviews, and present design documentation to stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of engineering experience (Bachelor’s degree required; relevant experience may substitute).
• Expert-level knowledge in at least one technical area, including infrastructure/networking.
• Proficiency with at least one major cloud provider (prefer AWS and Azure): VPC/Direct Connect/Transit Gateway and Azure virtual networks/ExpressRoute/NSGs.
• Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, BGP, switching, subnetting; experience with firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation) and scripting (Python/PowerShell/Bash).
• At least one relevant professional certification (e.g., AWS Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer Associate, Google Cloud Network Engineer, Cisco CCNA/CCNP/CCIE, CompTIA Network+).
