Production Supervisor (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Location: Los Angeles, CA, United States; onsite production-floor role

Base pay: $105,000–$155,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Lead the design and layout of the new aircraft production floor, including work cells, production flow, and equipment placement.
• Evaluate and coordinate procurement of production machinery and tooling.
• Develop tool control systems, safety protocols, standard operating procedures, and production tracking processes.
• Support selection and implementation of an MRP/ERP system for production, inventory, and quality integration.
• Hire, train, supervise, and mentor technicians and operators while building a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Manage daily production, monitor KPIs, collaborate with engineering on manufacturability, and lead root-cause analysis and process optimization.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in production or manufacturing leadership, ideally in aerospace or high-precision industries.
• Experience setting up or scaling a manufacturing facility.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, tool control systems, and production-flow optimization.
• Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems and production-system implementation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Hands-on approach and ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.

Nice to have

• Aircraft or aerospace manufacturing experience.
• Familiarity with composites, precision machining, or complex assembly lines.
• CAD literacy for layout planning and production aids.
• OSHA or safety training certifications.
