Senior People Operations Generalist

Location: Remote, Canada. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada at the time of hire and must not require employer sponsorship for a work visa.

Base salary: $90,000–$105,000 CAD per year, depending on experience and geographic location.

What you will do

• Improve onboarding, offboarding, worker data management, promotions, transfers, and leave-of-absence processes.
• Maintain HRIS data integrity through audits, corrective actions, troubleshooting, and process automation.
• Support system upgrades and module rollouts through user acceptance testing, documentation, and training.
• Manage complex people analytics reports and workflows for leadership and compliance purposes.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects involving performance and compensation cycles, system implementations, and policy changes.
• Support remote-work-abroad requests, immigration cases, and international relocations with legal partners.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, HRIS administration, or a related generalist role.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian employment law and HR compliance requirements.
• Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms such as Rippling, Workday, BambooHR, or ADP.
• Strong project management, analytical, communication, process-improvement, and confidentiality skills.
• Experience with benefits administration, leave management, compensation processes, and employee relations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in a high-growth or scaling company.
• Global People Operations, payroll, systems integration, or employee self-service experience.
• Experience managing global mobility and immigration programs.
• CPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar HR certification.
