Corporate Advisory and Banking Relationship Manager

Location: Chicago, United States; hybrid with a minimum of 4 days per week in the office

Salary: $150,000–$190,000 base salary per year plus bonus target

What you will do

• Build and deepen relationships with owners and financial staff of privately held and family-run businesses across the Midwest.
• Advise private business owners on M&A, exit opportunities, capital structure, capital markets, lending, private equity, governance, and succession.
• Market BBH’s lending, private equity, and multi-family office services and convert prospects into clients.
• Originate corporate credit opportunities and private equity investment opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to connect clients with wealth investment advisory, trust and estate planning, and philanthropic advisory services.
• Coordinate with underwriting, corporate lending, private equity, and wealth management teams while maintaining primary responsibility for client relationships.

Requirements

• BA or BS degree required.
• 10+ years of experience in corporate lending, corporate finance, or mergers and acquisitions.
• Strong relationships with owners of sizeable private or family-run businesses in the broader Midwest.
• Broad corporate finance and capital markets knowledge, including financial markets and M&A or capital raise processes.
• Experience with financial statement analysis and financial modeling.
• Interpersonal maturity, confidence, poise, strong organization, and written and oral communication skills.
