Salary: $123,000 – $140,000

What you will do

• Develop, execute, and document business risks and controls for assigned audit projects.
• Conduct walkthroughs and audit testing, analyzing data to identify high-risk issues and summarize findings.
• Perform audit planning and execution following agile auditing methodologies.
• Engage with stakeholders to validate and ensure the timely closure of audit findings.
• Leverage data analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Python to analyze large volumes of data for anomalies.
• Contribute to business unit risk assessments to identify gaps and provide input for the integrated audit plan.

Requirements

• Current work authorization for Canada is required.
• University degree in Business, preferably Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of internal or external audit experience, preferably in financial services (asset management, brokerage, etc.).
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements including MFDA, CIRO, and OSC.
• Completion of or working towards CA, CPA, CIA, or CISA accreditation.
• Experience auditing trading, investment management, private placements, or AML.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with data analytics software such as Knime or SAS.
