HR Business Partner (Fintech)

Salary: $84,405–$142,743 per year

What you will do

• Advise business leaders on talent priorities, workforce planning, organizational design, and HR strategies.
• Partner with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition on hiring, onboarding, development, succession planning, and retention.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, policy interpretation, issue resolution, and performance management.
• Support strategic, structural, technological, and people-oriented organizational change.
• Facilitate cultural integration, employee communication, and collaboration across HR and the broader organization.
• Partner with Compensation on role evaluation, pay equity, base salary, bonuses, and incentive recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience supporting geographically distributed employee populations.
• 1+ year supporting customer experience functions such as client or account management, customer service, or claims management.
• Knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, organizational behavior, workforce planning, talent reviews, and succession planning.
• Experience managing moderate to high-complexity employee relations issues and driving change.
• Comfort with an onsite presence in Woodbury, New York, along with strong stakeholder influence, communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.

Nice to have

• SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent HR certification.
• Experience in the finance or insurance industry.
• Familiarity with Workday.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams.
