Lead Engineer (.NET)

Location: West Los Angeles, California, United States; structured hybrid with at least three days per week in the office

Salary: $139,900–$199,300 per year

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade applications using .NET, C#, and SQL Server.
• Architect and execute Azure migration strategies, including re-platforming and modernization of legacy systems.
• Build and optimize cloud-native solutions with Azure services such as AKS, Cosmos DB, App Services, and Functions.
• Use AI-assisted development workflows to create specifications, iterate on architectures and interfaces, and write, refactor, and test production code.
• Develop automated testing frameworks, write tests alongside code, and support continuous integration and delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote cloud engineering and AI-assisted development best practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience focused on .NET and C#.
• Strong SQL Server and database design skills.
• Experience with Azure migration and cloud-native application development.
• Experience with automated testing, TDD, CI/CD pipelines, and API testing tools.
• Familiarity with AI code assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Claude.
• Must currently reside in West Los Angeles, California, and be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with microservices, containerization, and container orchestration.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps and related Azure tools.
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts, CNCF projects, and fully automated testing practices.
• Technical leadership experience and experience working with offshore teams.
