Software Engineer III (C#/.NET)

Location: Remote

Salary: $89,800–$125,500 per year, commensurate with experience and location.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and optimize enterprise software applications and business process solutions.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, coding, testing, enhancements, support, and troubleshooting.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for multiple applications and platforms, contributing to architecture discussions and strategic technology decisions.
• Collaborate with product owners, business partners, project teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver technology solutions.
• Partner with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, monitoring, application stability, and package management.
• Mentor software engineers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, technical guidance, and development support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent education and experience.
• 5–7 years of experience in software analysis, design, development, testing, and support, including at least 3 years with medium- to complex-scale applications or technology solutions.
• Proficiency with C#, .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET Core, SQL Server, T-SQL, Entity Framework or EF Core, REST APIs, and Web APIs.
• Experience writing automated unit tests, using Git-based source control, and working in Agile and/or DevOps environments.
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle, secure coding practices, authentication, authorization, sensitive data protection, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, including critically reviewing and validating generated output.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD implementation, deployment automation, logging, monitoring, and observability.
• Experience with NuGet, cloud platforms, scalable application architecture, and modern development practices.
• Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring software engineers.
