Site Environmental Health and Safety Manager

Salary: $140,000–$200,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Design, implement, and manage site environmental, health, and safety programs.
• Maintain compliance with DOE, OSHA, EPA, DOT, NFPA, and local fire department requirements, including permits and regulatory reports.
• Develop and maintain HAZCOM, Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, Industrial Hygiene, and other EHS procedures.
• Lead facility inspections, safety audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, near-miss reporting, and root-cause analysis.
• Deliver safety training for employees, contractors, and visitors while promoting hazard recognition and employee engagement.
• Manage hazardous waste storage and disposal under RCRA requirements and oversee contractor safety practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field preferred.
• 5–7 years of EHS leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Extensive knowledge of OSHA 1910/1926 and EPA regulations.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and change-leadership skills.
• Proficiency with EHS management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident.

Nice to have

• Certified Safety Professional, Associate Safety Professional, Certified Hazardous Materials Manager, or similar certification.
