EHS Coordinator

Location: Everett, Washington, United States. The position includes 0–25% travel and relocation assistance.

Salary: $102,804–$154,206 annually; the range is specific to Washington State.

What you will do

• Implement and manage site-specific environmental, health, and safety programs, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local requirements, including NRC, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
• Conduct inspections, audits, workplace risk assessments, exposure assessments, and environmental monitoring.
• Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop EHS training and ensure employees and managers understand their responsibilities.
• Track performance metrics, create annual improvement plans, and advise site employees and management on hazard controls and PPE.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health and safety, environmental science, industrial hygiene, engineering, or a related scientific or engineering discipline.
• 7–10 years of experience in EHS or environmental programs, preferably in manufacturing, production, laboratory, or service operations.
• Leadership or management experience with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to identify chemical, physical, ergonomic, and biological hazards and recommend engineering, administrative, work-practice, and PPE controls.
• Applicants may be subject to U.S. Government export-control review because hirify.global’s technology is export-controlled.
• Ability to perform the required physical functions, including extended sitting or standing, bending, repetitive work, and safely lifting up to 25 pounds.

Nice to have

• Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation.
