Vice President, Strategy & Business Operations (AI)

Location: Hybrid in San Ramon, California, with 3 days per week in the office required (Tuesday–Thursday).

Salary: $213,000–$468,800 USD per year, plus potential annual bonus, stock, and other incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Set corporate strategy, financial ambition, long-range planning, and the balance between growth and profitability.
• Own the integrated company plan, OKR architecture, functional interlock, and shared topline targets.
• Build a return-ranked investment and efficiency portfolio with FP&A, including build, buy, partner, and AI portfolio decisions.
• Translate geography and product mix into bookings targets and maintain an AI-enabled view of market and competitor developments.
• Standardize QBR and MBR operating cadences and establish cross-functional decision forums across Go-to-Market, Product, and Engineering.
• Run Strategy & Business Operations as an AI-native function by building agentic workflows and durable pipelines for market intelligence, variance analysis, and executive reporting.

Requirements

• 10+ years of combined experience in top-tier management consulting and corporate strategy or business operations at a technology company.
• Experience leading a strategy, business operations, or corporate development function, with exposure to CEO, CFO, and Board audiences.
• Strong financial fluency in long-range planning, return-based investment allocation, unit economics, Rule-of-40 mechanics, and scenario modeling.
• Practical proficiency with AI tools, large language models in production, agentic-system failure modes, and evaluation discipline.
• Experience translating corporate ambition into scalable AI and agentic automation frameworks, including orchestration, retrieval, tool use, and human-in-the-loop review.
• Enterprise SaaS experience and excellent executive communication; MBA or an equivalent advanced degree is highly recommended.

• Experience redesigning planning or investment-allocation processes with FP&A.
• Contact center, customer experience, unified communications, or adjacent cloud infrastructure experience.
• Exposure to M&A strategy, diligence, or post-merger integration.
