Material Coordinator (Fusion Energy)

Location: Devens, Massachusetts, United States; on-site

Salary: $70,000–$120,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Coordinate with planning, materials management, procurement, quality, production, construction, assembly, and design teams on time-sensitive build priorities.
• Modify work orders and initiate material kitting with the warehouse team.
• Coordinate material logistics through the factory and monitor material readiness.
• Work with procurement, planning, and materials management to reduce downtime caused by material shortages.
• Use shop-floor applications to manage resource workloads, maintain work-order status reports, and balance work-center resources.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing shop-floor environment and 2 years in production planning.
• Experience with shop-floor applications or manufacturing execution systems, plus a basic understanding of ERP and MRP systems.
• Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office or G Suite and a general understanding of quality-system functionality.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with manufacturing and supply-chain personnel.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and work for extended periods standing, sitting, stooping, typing, on ladders, or on scissor lifts; willingness to work occasional nights, weekends, or on-call shifts.
