Production & Materials Planner (Manufacturing)

Salary: $120,000–$195,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule across programs and sites in coordination with Production leadership.
• Own MRP inputs, parameters, and outputs, translating MBOM and demand signals into executable production and material plans.
• Support capacity, constraint, inventory, safety stock, and reorder planning across work centers and sites.
• Generate material readiness projections and identify shortages, bottlenecks, risks, and misalignments before they affect production.
• Drive daily build readiness by coordinating material flow, staging, expediting purchase and work orders, and resolving WIP blockers.
• Maintain accurate, real-time alignment across MRP, MES, supply chain, engineering, receiving, and production systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in production planning, supply chain, manufacturing operations, or material management.
• Experience with PLM and MRP/ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, with exposure to MES environments.
• Strong understanding of BOM structures, material requirements planning, production scheduling, and manufacturing execution.
• Experience translating demand signals into executable production or material plans and managing material readiness or shortages.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; the role may involve U.S. export-controlled information under EAR and ITAR regulations without export-license sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience in defense, aerospace, advanced manufacturing, or hardware production environments.
• Experience with capacity planning, build readiness, inventory strategies, or unsynchronized PLM, MRP, and MES systems.
• Experience in startup or growth-stage environments with evolving systems and processes.
• Comfort with execution-heavy, on-floor roles requiring real-time decision-making.
