What you will do

• Own the 45nm silicon photonics technology product ramp from development through mature production.
• Lead a technology module, prioritize projects, delegate work, define improvement experiments, and manage hardware disposition.
• Develop and qualify silicon photonics process flows and process integrations for performance, reliability, and defect-free manufacturing.
• Use technical data analysis to detect line issues and drive timely containment and resolution to protect yield and delivery.
• Collaborate with device and process-module teams on new production technologies.
• Drive cost, line-yield, test-yield, and efficiency improvements while engaging customers on issues, status, and milestones.

Requirements

• University degree in science, mathematics, engineering, semiconductor manufacturing, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience: 4+ years with a BS, 2+ years with an MS, or 1+ year with a PhD.
• Experience in process integration, lithography, or semiconductor manufacturing.
• Knowledge of semiconductor processing, process integration, test chips, test structures, yield-limit analysis, improvement, and reliability.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams, customers, and internal and external partners.

Nice to have

• Experience or academic exposure to silicon photonics.
• Structured problem-solving skills and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Laboratory or pre-professional experience in semiconductor processing.
• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control and/or Design of Experiments.
