Salary: $136,880 - $205,000 per annum

What you will do

• Own NPI and product engineering for optical modules and light engines (NPO, CPO).
• Collaborate with design, marketing, supply chain, and OSATs to develop manufacturing and test solutions.
• Define and validate production flows and specifications through prototype and pilot builds.
• Drive early DFM/PFMEA feedback and manage BOM releases.
• Lead production bring-up, yield improvement, and troubleshooting for volume production.
• Partner with quality teams to complete reliability de-risking and qualification.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Photonics, Optical Engineering, or a related field (Advanced degree preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of industry experience in product engineering or development for volume production.
• Deep expertise in Silicon photonics and optical transceiver modules or subassemblies.
• Strong experience in opto-electrical testing and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with assembly and packaging processes such as wire bonding, die attach, and active optical alignment.
• Must be eligible to access export-controlled information as defined under U.S. law (e.g., U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident).
