Location: Fully remote, limited to candidates who reside and work in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, IL, KY, MA, MI, MN, NC, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, WA, or WV
Salary: $160,000β$180,000 base salary annually, plus variable compensation and potential equity

is a digital clinic providing virtual, multidisciplinary addiction medicine and behavioral health treatment, including medication for opioid use disorder and peer recovery support.
What you will do
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle for new payer partnerships, from initial pitch through signed value-based care and pay-for-performance contracts.
- Renegotiate existing fee-for-service relationships and transition them to risk-sharing and outcomes-based frameworks.
- Negotiate contract terms, rates, and performance metrics while developing data-driven value propositions for health plans.
- Build and manage a payer prospect pipeline, forecast revenue, and report on sales metrics using CRM tools.
- Research payer markets, competitors, and regulatory changes; identify targets across Medicaid MCOs, Medicare Advantage, and commercial plans.
- Share market insights with Product, Operations, and Partner Success teams and support implementation after signing.
Requirements
- 5β7+ years of experience in healthcare sales, payer contracting, network development, or managed care.
- Demonstrated success negotiating and closing complex value-based care, shared-savings, or pay-for-performance contracts.
- Deep knowledge of alternative payment models, population health, and Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and commercial health plans.
- Strong negotiation, financial, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to build and interpret pricing and ROI models.
- Executive presence and experience influencing C-suite decision-makers at major health plans.
- Must reside and work in one of the listed states.
Nice to have
- Experience with behavioral health, substance use disorder, or digital health payer partnerships.
- An established network of senior contacts at regional or national health plans.
- Familiarity with value-based care and telehealth regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Lived experience or training as a peer recovery specialist.
