Employee Benefits Account Manager

Location: On-site in Lynnwood, Washington, United States, supporting the Pacific Northwest.

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 per year.

What you will do

• Service employee benefits accounts, including quotes, policy issuance, ID cards, endorsements, certificates, claims, renewals, and correspondence.
• Respond to client inquiries and company requests while maintaining timely follow-up.
• Develop coverage strategies, collect renewal data, and support insurance marketing and sales.
• Review policies and endorsements for accuracy and confirm that ordered items were received.
• Maintain and document client and account activity in Applied Systems / EPIC.
• Keep Producers and management informed about account activity, risks, and potential problems.

Requirements

• Active Health & Life License required.
• At least 2 years of employee benefits experience and a high school diploma.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, reasoning, mathematical, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Knowledge of insurance principles, carrier underwriting requirements, and policy provisions.
• Comfort with on-site work is required.

Nice to have

• Applied Systems / EPIC experience.
• Employee Navigator experience.
• CPCU certification or completion of a specialized training course.
